Blackhawk Construction recently completed the full renovation of a senior living apartment community, transforming 108 residential units and the entire community center. The scope of work included comprehensive interior demolition and asbestos abatement, followed by wood framing, insulation, and the installation of new interior and patio security doors. Each apartment received new drywall, flooring, appliances, plumbing systems—including sewer, drain, waste, and domestic lines—and reconfigured electrical systems with new panels and updated fixtures. The exterior portion of the project involved applying new elastomeric roofing throughout the property and architectural shingles at the community center. The building exteriors and parking structures were fully repainted, the landscaping was refreshed to enhance curb appeal, and the elevators were renovated to ensure improved functionality and safety. The project was delivered with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and modern comfort for the senior community. This was the 4th project that Blackhawk Construction has completed for the City of Phoenix.
